AUCTION INSPECTION: Monday, April 18, 2022, 9 AM - 2 PM. Previewers will be REQUIRED to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement before entering the building and wear closed toe shoes while in the building. Gloves are recommended, as vandals smashed glass throughout the building.
AUCTION PICKUP TIME: By appointment ONLY on Wednesday, April 20th
from 9 AM - 5 PM. Anyone purchasing very large quantities of chairs or desks will be allowed to return on Thursday, April 21st from 9 AM - 5 PM. Additional access will be allowed on Friday morning, only if ABSOLUTELY necessary. Bidders will need to plan to bring tools, carts & as many people as necessary to remove items in the timeframe allowed. A few flatbed and U-boat carts will be available for purchase, if buyers do not have their own.
An invoice will be emailed to you after the auction ends on Tuesday, April 19th. We encourage you to schedule a pick up appointment before the
auction ends, if you have a specific time you are available. You may request an
appointment any time after 9 AM on Monday, April 18th by texting Natalie
at 757-287-8797 with your bidder #, your name and your preferred pick up time. Please
also specify your intended method of payment for your auction purchases. If you
do not request an appointment in advance, Natalie will email AND text you after
the auction ends. Please respond by text or email by 6 PM on April 19th. PLEASE, NO
TEXTS AFTER 8 PM.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 3 PM WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20, 2022 - Items not picked up within this schedule will be
considered abandoned. NO EXCEPTIONS!
PAYMENT: Your total invoice must be paid, in full, the day
following the auction. You will receive an invoice for your total which will
include a 15% Buyers Premium (discounted to 12% for cash, Zelle or Venmo
payments), plus applicable sales tax. Credit cards must be saved in your Bidder
Profile, as all credit card payments are processed online only. Placing a bid
contractually binds you to paying for an item. If you win a bid, payment is
required, whether or not you pick up your item(s).
SALES TAX: Virginia sales tax of 6% will be charged on all items we
auction, except vehicles, unless the appropriate tax exempt form is on file,
prior to the end of the auction.
INSPECTION & PREVIEWS: We want you to get the best deal
possible and encourage you to inspect all items before bidding. Due to the
number of items we sell, we do NOT have time to test items. All due
diligence belongs to the bidder. If you have any questions pertaining
to a specific lot, please call 757-512-8833 BEFORE placing a bid! If you cannot
make it to the preview, but have questions on specific items, you may call
Natalie, the morning of the preview, and she will be happy to send you pictures

WARRANTY, CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold as-is,
where-is, with NO warranties expressed or implied, and there are NO refunds
given. Please read the description & examine the photos when bidding. If
there is any doubt when viewing an item, go by the description as photographs
sometimes include items that are NOT part of the lot. Most importantly, we
strongly encourage you to preview the auction items during the designated
preview time. Neither the auctioneer, nor the seller, makes any warranties or
representations of any kind or nature with respect to said property.
AUTO-EXTENDED BIDDING: Our auctions feature a Simulated Live
Auction Experience with staggered closings, auto-extend bidding and bid
notifications. This allows items to close at a pre-determined rate of 2 items
per minute. We also feature auto-extend bidding, which means that the closing
time of an individual lot will be extended when a bid is placed in the last 2
minutes of the item's closing. This allows you a chance to place a final bid on
an item you may have otherwise missed, and closely simulates a "live
auction” experience.
PICKUP / REMOVAL: All items must be removed on April 20, 2021 from
9AM - 3 PM BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Bidders are responsible for all costs involved with removal of their purchases
& any damages incurred during removal of purchases. The auction staff does
NOT dismantle, disconnect or provide any tools, equipment or labor necessary
for item removal.
ABANDONED ITEMS: Any items not picked up on the specified removal
day, may be discarded, removed, resold or stored at Auctioneer's
discretion. When you place a bid and are notified of winning an item, the item
contractually becomes yours, and any fees associated with moving, removing,
discarding or collecting payment, whether physical or legal are the
responsibility of the bidder.
